Our School

Welcome to St Ursula’s College, a dynamic Catholic day and boarding school where educating and caring for young women has been our priority since 1931.

Established by the Australian Ursuline Nuns in Toowoomba, our college draws on a rich tradition that evolved in the 16th century in Italy through our Foundress, St
Angela Merici. Our vision is to empower our young women to be courageous and compassionate individuals who are women of integrity and prepared to shape
the future. Our mission is to contribute responsibly to the transformation of our society. Inspired by the College motto, Serviam: I will serve, students are challenged
to apply themselves at school and be respectful of others and give of their best in all circumstances.

We have high expectations of our students in terms of how they learn and how they wear their uniform and interact with others. We have these high expectations of each of our students because we know that they are capable of much.

Our staff recognise the importance of giving our students the skills, knowledge and experience that they need to ensure that they are post-school ready and capable of making ethical and moral decisions with integrity.

To better support our students on this journey, we have prepared this Information Booklet to support our students and their families.

St Ursula’s College is committed to ensuring a respectful learning environment that is safe, positive and supportive for all at the College. St Ursula’s College promotes behaviour based on respect. This includes:

  • Respect for God and the Sacred;
  • Respect for Self;
  • Respect for Others and
  • Respect for Community and its Environment.
